About Me.

Howdy! My name is Griffin, and today Ruby Sue’s is my one-man bicycle repair operation. I grew up in Eagle, Colorado and have returned home recently to start this little venture, as such I’ve been riding trails around the Vail Valley just about as long as anyone.

Professionally, I’ve been working with bicycles since I was old enough to turn a wrench and have worked at one time or another with just about every two (or sometimes three wheeled) craft out there. My passion lies with mountain bike riding so while my greatest skillset is working with modern mountain bikes I’ve worked in a great deal of different types of shops over the years. If it rolls and pedals, I’m into it.

I started working on bikes up here before taking my skillset down to college in Boulder, for a couple years after graduation I plied my trade around the Front Range before heading over seas. Abroad I traveled across New Zealand, Australia and Hawaii, and had a chance to work with top-tier mountain, road, adventure, cargo, and electric bike shops and truly had my love for bikes reinvigorated. Now I’ve come back home and couldn’t be more excited to rejoin the excellent cycling community here in the Vail Valley.
